The role of Kitchen supervisor/ Cook’s reports directly to the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef. The Cook’s is responsible for preparing a variety of food products including meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to kitchen protocol and standards. Performs all duties as assigned and directed by Chef, Head Chef and/or Cook.
- Passion for fresh ingredients and producing great food every day.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work well within a restaurant team culture.
- Should be able to supervise the team in absence of Sous chef and head chef
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work morning, evening and weekend shifts as business dictates

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.50-$23.67 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chilliwack, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
