**Responsibilities**:
Cash Receipts
- Review and post cash receipts to the appropriate general ledger accounts and reconcile to the bank statements

Sales and Accounts Receivable
- Prepare weekly customer invoices for railcar and miscellaneous sales orders
- Maintain railcar order files
- Review accounts receivable aged sub-ledger and follow-up with past due amounts
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with customers
- Reconcile the Canadian and U.S. accounts receivable aged sub-ledgers to the general ledger

Costing and Inventory
- Perform detailed costing of miscellaneous sales orders
- Provide sales and margin analysis of miscellaneous sales orders
- Reconcile steel and stock transfers between the sub-ledger and general ledger
- Price steel and stock transfers and other adjustments, as required
- Summarize weekly labour cost sheets

Freight and Customs
- Review and maintain unprocessed shipping notices report
- Verify B3 (Canada Customs Coding Form Summary) to accounts payable system and supplier invoices in order to meet Canada Customs compliance standards

Other
- Other projects and ad hoc analysis, as required

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Post-secondary degree in accounting
- At least one year of prior experience in accounting/finance role, inclusive of internships and co-op positions

**Job Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- Prior experience with AS400 system or other fully integrated ERP system an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills, detailed oriented and problem solving ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

**Compensation**:

- Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life and disability insurance
- Participation in the Company funded defined contribution pension plan after one year of service

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
