IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $18 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

**What You Will Do**:

- We are currently seeking a seasoned Head of Risk and Audit (EVP level) to effectively lead our internal audit, enterprise risk, and credit risk functions, providing objective assessment to the Board of Directors and leadership team that will add value and support the improvement of overall corporate effectiveness.
- The individual will gain a deep and broad understanding of the business and culture quickly.
- They will develop and maintain effective working relationships with the leadership team, the Board, and cross functional leaders, establishing a high level of credibility, trust and respect of the organization and be viewed as a key business partner and leader.
- Keeping abreast of best practices the Head of Risk and Audit instils a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and acts in accordance with all relevant regulations.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Professional designation in accounting, risk or audit as well as significant internal auditing or enterprise risk management experience within organizations of comparable scale and scope and within at least a sector in which IO operates.
- Managed the full remit of internal audit or risk management.
- Strong understanding of methodologies, process, engagement risks, and enterprise-level risk assessments supporting annual audit planning.
- Balancing a progressive and objective approach, you demonstrate a deep analytical ability and sound judgement to support IO in accomplishing its strategic objectives.
- A superb communicator, you coach, mentor, and support your team to success.
- Previous experience working closely with executive teams and Boards.
