We are currently seeking a new team member to support project estimating. We are a custom manufacturer, so every project is unique. You should appreciate the challenge of breaking down a project into the individual components required to achieve the final vision. You understand what attention to detail means but are also comfortable identifying assumptions when the details are not available. You are resourceful and a collaborator. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we want you to take time to collaborate - with sales, engineering, and the production team - as this is a key ingredient for great estimates.

The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more:

- Produce quotations for new opportunities to be submitted to clients
- Gather necessary information to create estimates from scratch or from existing material lists, estimates, labour times, and available drawings with specifications
- Communicate with external vendors to secure pricing/timing.
- Assemble bid pricing for large tenders.
- Create, review and update templates in ERP system
- Be able to review rendering and technical drawings to identify components required to complete an estimate

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years’ experience estimating in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Sign estimating experience is preferred

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
