Position: Parts Technician

Work Schedule: 40hrs/week - rotation, M-F, T-S

**Position Overview**

Velocity Truck Centres, Canada (previously P&R Truck Centre) is looking for a top Parts Technician for our Victoria dealership, who excels at creating a high-quality customer experience. **Primary Job Functions**
- Sell, store, and supply parts to customers
- Use company software to process parts and supplies, maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, sales contracts, stock adjustments and credit requests
- Follow the inventory and merchandising processes while maintaining the retail display
- Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the department
- Other duties as assigned by Parts or Assistant Parts Manager

**Qualifications**
- Great customer service both in person and over the phone, verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
- Confidence using computer systems, writing reports and searching for customer parts.
- Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
- Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset.
