**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload the paint line using a powered lift.
- Inspect metal doors and frames for any defects, imperfections, or surface irregularities.
- The ability to set up paint guns for the days run.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.
- Store painting materials and equipment properly to prevent damage.
- Inspect primed metal doors and frames for any inconsistencies, runs, or missed spots.
- Touch up areas as needed to ensure uniform coverage and finish.
- Follow quality control procedures to meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) such as respirators, coveralls, and gloves.
- Complete daily pre-shift inspections.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to supervisors promptly.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Prior experience working as an industrial painter, particularly in a metal manufacturing, steel fabrication environment.
- Experience specifically with priming metal surfaces, such as doors and frames, is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques.
- Physical stamina and endurance.
- Ability to lift heavy items - weight handling up to 22.5 Kg (50 lbs.)
- Excellent hand eye coordination.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve painting-related problems effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
