We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven **Sales Associate / Assistant Manager in Training** to join our dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities**:
As a **Sales Associate / Assistant Manager in Training** for outdoor furniture sales, you will take on a variety of tasks that support the success of our showroom and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include:
- **Sales & Customer Service**:
- Assist customers in selecting outdoor furniture and products based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, including material options and care recommendations.
- Handle inquiries and resolve customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to meet sales targets.
- **Team Leadership & Training**:
- Support in managing and motivating the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Offer training and mentorship for new and existing team members, focusing on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are well-stocked and accessible.
- Assist with restocking and product organization for an attractive, efficient display.
- Ensure product quality is maintained, and items are ready for sale.
- **Visual Merchandising**:
- Contribute to creating visually appealing displays that showcase our outdoor furniture.
- Ensure the showroom is neat, clean, and organized.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions and highlight special offers.
- **Sales Reporting & Targets**:
- Track daily and weekly sales performance to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with management to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Analyze customer preferences and sales trends to optimize inventory and product selection.
- **Customer Experience Management**:
- Create a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for customers.
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
- Oversee after-sales service, including delivery coordination and satisfaction follow-ups.
- **Operational Support**:
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.
- Ensure store operations run smoothly, including maintaining cleanliness, safety, and accessibility.
- Help manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.
- **Product Knowledge Development**:
- Stay informed about the latest trends in outdoor furniture and design.
- Participate in ongoing product training to enhance your expertise.
- Share valuable insights about customer preferences with the management team.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- A deep understanding of the value of excellent customer service.
- An appreciation for a fast-paced retail environment and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in retail sales, interior design, landscape design, or a related field is highly beneficial.
**Additional Information**:
- **Work Schedule**: This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend shifts. **Weekend shifts are mandatory** during the spring and summer months.
