We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent IT Manager to join our growing team

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations and projects of the IT department ensuring its efficient and effective operation.
- Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop IT team members for high performance and provide day-today direction to the IT team.
- Develop the IT department strategy; lead and inspire the IT team to successfully execute the strategy.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts including planning and implementing major modifications to the organization’s technical infrastructure (i.e., networks, servers, back-up and disaster recovery) to drive efficiency.
- Lead the development and implementation of IT work standards, operating procedures, procurement guidelines, documentation and supporting process.
- Forecast IT department talent needs; in collaboration with the Human Resources department and Executive Director, Physicians Services & Benefits, recruit and select talent to meet those needs.
- Effectively source and manage external IT vendors as required.
- Collaborate with business units/programs to identify and implement technology enabling opportunities that impact performance and member satisfaction.
- Monitor, research, and remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices and propose changes/enhancements.
- Provide input in the IT budget planning process and manage the annual IT budget.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Physician Services & Benefits.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline or combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- A minimum of ten years' experience in Information Technology with progressive responsibilities.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing/leading teams.
- PMP Certification is an asset.

**Salary**

$100,095 - $135,429 per annum commensurate with experience.
