**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct gymnastics training sessions for various skill levels, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and safety.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each gymnast.
- Educate athletes on the fundamentals of gymnastics, including proper warm-up routines and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner.
- Prepare gymnasts for competitions by providing guidance on routines, mental preparation, and sportsmanship.
- Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and staff regarding performance and development.
- Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and gymnastics trends to enhance training programs.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or competitor is preferred or certified by GOF.
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety protocols.
- Ability to swim is an advantage for certain training activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and athlete progress effectively.
- A positive attitude with a passion for working with children and youth in sports.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
