**Position Summary**:
The Trailer Mechanic & Truck Body Assembler, Builds, services, and completes hydraulic and electrical components to assemble end dump trailers and truck body equipment, including Dump Trucks & End Dump Trailers.

**Overall Responsibilities**:

- Operates hand tools to assemble hydraulic, electrical and air systems on truck and trailer chassis.
- Coordinates each job with a lead hand to ensure full understanding
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and take pride in work
- Demonstrated team player and willing to assist others when required
- Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Independent problem solver Inspect all finished parts thoroughly
- Operate forklifts & overhead cranes.
- Operates and follows safe work procedures

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Knowledge of Hydraulic, Electrical and air systems on trailers and trucks
- Mechanical aptitude
- Neat, organized, and systematic work quality
- Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertain to daily tasks
- Ability to listen and take direction
- Ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination
- Can safely lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours

**Education & Training/Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training and certificate desirable
- Valid Driver’s license
- Mechanical experience 1+ year

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
