We are actively seeking a Quality Control and Testing Manager.

The main responsibilities of this position are:

- Manage all staff involved in testing and quality control activities.
- Review and approve manufacturing and assembly instructions for adequate points of inspection operations; determine appropriate documentation for inspection points.
- Manage the development and execution of inspection procedures and requirements for finished products and components (or sub assemblies) that are being received.
- Supervise and/or conduct quality control reviews at established inspection points. Verify and maintain quality control records and testing documents.
- Recruit, train, and support quality & testing personnel to assure effective and competent performance of the quality management team.
- Participate in the review of all design, manufacturing, purchasing, and test documentation to assure conformance to quality control standards. This can include a review of drawings, specification sheets, production procedures, testing and inspection standards, vendor inspections and customer contract specifications.
- Review and oversee the implementation of engineering change notices and related document change control.
- Make recommendations regarding facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures, and systems to carry out quality control functions.
- Supervise tagging and quarantine procedures for rejection of in-process, finished product, and component receiving inspection areas.
- Authorize rework, scrap, or return to vendor decisions, consults and reviews with the Director of Manufacturing or Director of Engineering, as necessary.
- Monitor and address all quality complaints. Reports serious or repeated failures or unreliability in the quality of products. Recommends corrective actions or plans/programs for overall defect reductions in products.
- Perform other quality control functions as necessary or as requested.

Requirements and skills:
A Bachelor of Science degree or Engineering degree is required.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
Very detail oriented and very organized.
Leadership skills and experience are beneficial.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 a plus

- Squamish, BC V8B 0V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
