**Job Summary**
Protein Lounge is a new, vibrant restaurant dedicated to serving healthy and delicious smoothies, bowls, and wraps. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, energetic environment. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Food attendant to join our team and contribute to the preparation of our high-quality menu offerings.

As a Food Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and timeliness. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with other employees to ensure smooth and efficient service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, and other cooking appliances.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Monitor food quality and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with other employees to ensure timely service.
- Assist with inventory management and food ordering as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for food and healthy cuisine.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
