ABOUT

Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives, through the celebration of the Mass, prayer, and liturgical celebrations. Together with the support of parents and our parish community, our educators and support staff are committed to providing a Catholic learning environment where children may grow as unique individuals and develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, and socially to become caring members of society. At Corpus Christi, we have many extra-curricular programs and local outreach opportunities for our staff and students to get involved with. Our school is in growing city of Vancouver, only a short commute to the downtown core and near some of the city's best beaches, parks, restaurants, and shops. Popular attractions in Vancouver include Main Street, Gastown, Olympic Village, Granville Island, Yaletown, Kitsilano Beach, and English Bay.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work under the supervision of a certified teacher
- Support students to maximize participation and learning in an inclusive environment
- Assist teachers in designing and implementing individualized or group behavioural and learning support
- Assist in the collection of data, including observations and recording of academic and behavioural performance
- Interact with students in a professional and effective manner
- Participate in IEP/School-Based Team meetings as required

The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools - 40 elementary and 6 high schools.
