**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive gynecologic care.
- Diagnose and treat reproductive health issues, including menstrual disorders, infertility, pelvic pain, and hormonal imbalances.
- Perform gynecological exams, including pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
- Offer family planning and contraceptive counseling, including IUD and implant insertions/removals.
- Manage menopause care and related health concerns, such as bone health and hormonal therapy.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to deliver holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in women’s health and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
**Qualifications**:
- Medical Degree or completion of Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology or familiar with gynecology and women's health.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Alberta.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate bedside manner.
