**The primary purpose of this position is to oversee Bumper Production, Painting and put away.**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (the incumbent may be asked to perform any combination of the following functions):

**1. Receive, inspect and correctly tag incoming un-painted bumpers.**

**2. Receive, inspect and relocate to correct location all raw materials for bumper production.**

  • Start Paint and Production Lines, adjusting workforce as needed.
  • Set up lines for Paint/Production as per order priority.
  • Make sure all items are put away in their designated locations.
  • Responsible for securing the paint line at the end of each working day.
  • Maintain an inventory of all critical shipping and receiving supplies and ensure availability.

**MAINTENANCE**

  • Ensure all fork trucks are properly charged and maintained
  • Document all Daily checks on all Fork lift trucks.

**3.** Complete daily checks on Paintline and paint booth.

**Housekeeping**

  • Keep Paint Line and Bumper Press Line clean and organized.
  • Complete daily removal of all plant waste to the proper waste storage areas.
  • Arrange all waste and garbage pickup as required including garbage and metal.

**Inventory**

  • Keep an accurate Inventory of all IWI shipping and receiving products.
  • Ensure all Inventory items are properly tagged, clearly identified, Quantities clearly marked.

Any other duties as assigned by the WHS Operations Supervisor.

Knowledge and skill requirements

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

  • High school Diploma an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of Shipping and Receiving experience in manufacturing environment.
  • A willingness to learn and be cross-trained within IWI.
  • Certification in First-Aid/CPR Emergency Care would be an asset.
