**About the Role - Front Office Agent**

Front Office associates are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives an opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Associate. If you have worked at other Hotels as a front desk clerk or you have an interest in hotel clerk jobs, we'd love to hear from you

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Greeting guests upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome
- Recording client information in the company’s guest book or internal database and directing them to their designated rooms
- Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
- Organizing transportation services and making restaurant reservations for guests upon request
- Processing customer payments and presenting them with the bill upon check-out
- Assisting guests who request additional services including catering, wedding bookings, and retreat activities
- Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Service focused personality is essential
- Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven
- Detail oriented yet able to excel while multi-tasking
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Post Secondary education in hospitality or tourism program
