Program Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare office correspondence and data reports using Microsoft Office Suite, electronic mail system, and/or to program specific software
- Purchase supplies using PeopleSoft Finance system
- Assist program and department in coordinating and completing projects
- Attend and record minutes for various committee meetings
- Manage and maintain records management system (electronic and paper)
- Create, review and revise program materials
- Support student selection and enrolment management strategies using Campus Solutions
- Assist with annual tasks for compliance requirements for program accreditation
- Plan and organize school, department, and program specific events
- Maintain office equipment (printers and photocopier)
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Knowledge of department related policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Good understanding of organizational policies and procedures
- Some knowledge of related administrative theories and principals
- Knowledge of related software
- Good understanding of related customer service methods and techniques
- Strong technical and computer skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or certificate in Business or Office Administration or other related discipline
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Experience in a related field
- Experience with PeopleSoft would be an asset
- Equivalencies may be considered
**Remuneration**:$1,656.33 - $2,138.51 bi-weekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support IV)
- This position is covered by the AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) Collective Agreement._
