NOW HIRING- FRONT OF HOUSE LEAD
Base rate of pay plus controlled tip sharing.

WHO YOU ARE
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Front of House Lead is an individual who can take charge of each shift, lead personnel and delegate responsibilities during each shift. You will be responsible to report into the Manager daily, to discuss scheduling, future planning, goals and team performance issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Daily

**“Hands on” Server/Bartender duties, as listed below**:

- Provide world-class food service to our guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Deliver Vetta’s steps of service.
- Present menu and provide detailed information about menu items and drinks.
- Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Take food and drink orders and verify to ensure accuracy.
- Effectively communicate with your kitchen colleagues to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness presentation, and address concerns.
- Arrange table settings by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Remove dirty plates, glasses, and silverware.
- Clean and polish silverware and glasses as needed.
- Ensure side duties are completed during each shift.
- Pre and post shift duties such as restocking condiments etc. to prepare for incoming shift.
- Follow all relevant health department and health and safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Lead Responsibilities
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings, discussing unfinished business from the day before.
- Ensure duties have been completed thoroughly from the previous shift and address deficiencies.
- Monitor activities during each shift and at the end of each shift to ensure tasks are being completed.
- Delegate daily tasks to the team.
- Manage bar inventory and assist with ordering supplies on a timely basis
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager with reports and planning, as required
- Work with Manager create seasonal bar menus to complement the seasonal food menus
- Encouraging team to complete tasks thoroughly and on a timely basis.
- Address general employee issues and report into Manager.
- Complete a daily shift report
- Make recommendations to Food and Beverage Manager for improvements.
- Assist with recruiting hiring and training new employees
- Provide feedback to Manager on employee performance in order to complete performance reviews
- Assist with the execution of event and group bookings process.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL.
- Previous leadership experience in the form of Lead or Supervisor
- Previous experience in a Server and/or Bartender role.
- Proven reliability and responsibility.
- Capable of making sound decisions.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Displays a positive, professional attitude.
- Promotes a dedicated team environment through effective communication.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk and bend over an 8-hour period.
- Previous cleaning at a spa or resort type environment an asset.
- Required to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- First Aid Certificate/CPR an asset.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Work in an environment with mínimal temperature control,
- Able to lift max of 50 lbs.
