**Job Overview**
Dunwald and Fleming Enterprise Ltd. is seeking skilled and motivated **Finish Excavator Operators** to join our Earthworks Division for the 2025 season. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including sewer and water utility installations, earthworks excavation, and industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.

Certifications / Training:

- Proven experience operating excavators, particularly in residential subdivisions (preferred).
- Ground Disturbance Level 2 Certification (In-class)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug pre-screening.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, days, weekends, and overtime.
- WHMIS and CSTS
- Mandatory Pre-screen Drug/Alcohol test

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators for deep and shallow utilities, backfilling, ditching, trenching, sub-grade excavating, and land clearing.
- Work on residential subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.

Working hours are typically 7 am - 5 pm; 5-6 days a week with overtime paid as per AB construction industry standard.

We offer in-house progressive training and opportunities for advancement within our company such as, fusing, equipment operators, welders’ helpers, foreman's, etc.

Some out-of-town work required, Southern Alberta.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
