**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a facilitator and mentor in the classroom, guiding youth through employment programs such as the R2W program and Verto Project.
Conduct engaging workshops and personal development sessions to equip youth with essential skills for success in the workplace.
- Build and maintain relationships with at-risk youth both within the classroom and during outreach support sessions.
- Conduct regular outreach support sessions with youth enrolled in employment programs to ensure their readiness and willingness to transition into employment.
- Collaborate with employers to support job retention and success for youth in the program.
- Advocate for youth needs, including housing, legal assistance, mental health support, and academic assistance.
- Coordinate with other support networks in the youth's ecosystem to foster growth opportunities and address any barriers to employment.
- Maintain thorough documentation of interactions and progress for youth enrolled in employment programs.
- Engage in continuous personal and professional development to enhance skills in classroom facilitation and outreach support.
- Support and guide youth through restorative dialogue processes to mitigate conflict and enhance engagement in the classroom and workplace.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- A diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years of direct service work with at-risk youth.
- Proficiency in understanding and working with at-risk, culturally diverse youth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think and act intentionally and strategically to facilitate behavioral change in youth.
- Proficiency in creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and violence prevention.
- Capability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Experience with classroom facilitation and workshop delivery.
- Flexibility with work hours/schedule to meet the needs of youth.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract and carry 2 million liability auto insurance.
- Successful completion of criminal record and child welfare checks.

Pay: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
