Food Expeditor

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.

We are looking for someone with kitchen experience with calling orders to the cooks as well as being able to expo Food for servers

**Duties**
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor the preparation of dishes, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before they are served.
- Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and management regarding order status and any special requests from customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including cooking, cleaning, and assembling dishes.
- Utilize POS systems for order tracking and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests from guests promptly.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering is a plus.
- A background in cooking or food service roles will be beneficial for understanding kitchen operations.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 44 per week
