**The Durham Convention Centre is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to hosting corporate conferences, trade shows, weddings, concerts, sporting events, and more. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team and help maintain a pristine environment for our guests.**

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas of the convention centre, including event spaces, restrooms, lobbies, and offices, are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
- Assist in post-event cleanup and resetting spaces for upcoming events.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for events.
