Evening Supervisor

As the Evening Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for three staff members, accurate inventory cycle counts, receiving inbound shipments, picking orders, loading trucks and other duties as assigned. The evening supervisor will be the point of contact for customer pick-ups. Starting rate would be $25.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium.

This position is full-time, Sunday to Thursday, 7 pm to 3 am.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and delegating tasks and daily activities for three staff
- Accurate and efficient handling/loading/unloading of materials from delivery and courier vehicles
- Accurate counting of inventory cycle counts
- Research all inventory discrepancies and discuss with supervisor
- Ensure that all inventory labels are in a readable condition and are correctly located
- Fill primary stock locations with appropriate inventory
- Co-ordinate the receipt of large inbound shipments. Example: Copper, Steel Pipe, and MJ
- Ensure great communication, collaboration and that tasks are completed “on-time”
- Identify and communicate ways to improve warehouse holding capacity with the other day time supervisors or Operations Manager
- Ensure inventory is kept neat and organized
- Be able to problem solve by thinking “outside the normal”
- Compliance with all government and organizational rules, regulations, and policies (H&S, Operations, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Experience using manual material handling equipment is an asset, forklift trained (Example: hand trucks/pump trucks)
- Experience with plumbing parts and materials is an asset
- Internet Savvy
- Experience with cycle counting processes
