**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Advise union representatives and members on employment law matters, including workplace disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, and employee rights
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and stay current with legal developments
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, settlement agreements, pleadings, and motions with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements and other resolutions between parties to achieve favorable outcomes
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as needed
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure client compliance with applicable laws
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries of case findings for internal review and client updates
