**Job type**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Starting Salary**: $15.70- $18.00 per hour

Legendary Hospitality is looking to hire a Kitchen Support for the summer 2025 season. We are looking for someone with full-time availability to assist our Commissary Kitchen. **Must have a valid driving license.** This is a fast-paced, high volume environment with lots of stairs with both indoor and outdoor duties.

**Job Summary**

To offer a legendary hospitality experience by ensuring inventory levels are met by making prompt accurate deliveries to restaurants. In this position you will be responsible for gaining and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of food menu items, performing basic maintenance duties and communicating with the venue teams. You will be assisting the Cooks with dishwashing duties and some basic prep work. It is important to work as a team, keeping up good attitudes with coworkers and to display a joyful composure with guests.

**Job Requirements**
- Current valid NS drivers license
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma
- Delivery driver experience (asset)
- Dishwashing experience
- Average understanding of food/bev handling procedures

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities**
- Communicating any quality or guest issues with management as soon as possible
- Maintaining a positive attitude, never speaking poorly of guests or coworkers
- Transport beer kegs, food and other items as required between the beer garden at Summit Plaza and the storage area on Grafton Street
- Transport food and product to Antojo, Stubborn Goat, Beer Garden, Salt Yard & Sketti & Ball Co
- Ensure deliveries are accurate
- Ensure deliveries are made on-time
- Pick up supplies at stores as required
- Receiving orders and stocking
- Drop off of catering equipment at events
- Help solve client problems or requests in a prompt and professional manner
- Represent the company on the road, while driving labeled company vehicles and making deliveries
- Handle credit cards and checks for purchases
- All other reasonable requests that are made by mangers, supervisors or owners
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are complied with at all times
- Foster a team environment at all times with coworkers, culinary staff, and service staff
- Manage incoming deliveries
- Maintain and cleanliness and organization dry goods and storerooms
- Assuring that dish machine and surrounding equipment are operating properly such as keeping chemicals filled and regular inspection of working parts.
- Dish area is always kept clean and orderly.
- Dishes are inspected and put away clean and in an organized fashion.
- Maintaining cleanliness of staff areas, bathroom, front of property.

**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time
- Must be able to lift 45kgs
- Uniform provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
