This position reports to the Sales Director, and collaborates closely with senior account reps and the pre-sales technical team across Canada.

Success of this role will be defined and measured by the individual’s ability to achieve and exceed quota while maximizing margins. You will be highly self-motivated, have a distinct sense of urgency, and driven by producing superior results.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Meeting sales targets to increase revenue
- Proactively identify, nurture and close new sales opportunities in existing and new customers.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to expand size of the opportunity
- Communicate value proposition to customers and propose solutions with a good working knowledge of the technology and services we provide.
- Qualify sales opportunities using formal sales methodologies
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities in the CRM system
- Build productive long lasting relationships with key customers
- Recognize and manage key accounts by building account plans and working with team members to co-ordinate an aligned approach into key accounts
- Work closely with senior sales reps to communicate effectively and partner on long-term customer opportunities
- Recognize and work with ISR to hand off smaller deals
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline, maximize margin and close deals
- Follow formal post-interaction process to follow up with every customer
- Understand and embrace the company's vision, mission, strategy & values.
- Attend meetings, conferences, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments

**Skills Required**:

- 3+ years experience of proactive/outbound sales success selling to mid-size and large business and education customers
- Skilled in networking and uncovering new opportunities
- Excellent oral and written communication in English. French an asset.
- Explain and demonstrate features and benefits of products and services.
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Some post-secondary education required
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of with NetSuite or similar CRM solution
- Comfortable using web-based software and communication tools
- Ability to hold in person meetings on an ongoing basis
