**What we do**

Benmet Steel & Metal is a leader in the Canadian scrap and recycling industry located in **Guelph, Stratford and Owen Sound, Ontario**. We are one of the most established and reputable independent scrap metal processors in Ontario. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team.

**What you'll do...**
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, organizing, and establishing operation goals
- Day to day warehouse duties by determining safe product handling, customer and business needs, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
- Meet tasks and deadlines with daily Shipping & Receiving goals, while controlling and managing inventory
- Prepare workflow, layout and action plans while ensuring productivity. Maintaining quality and customer service standards are met
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Assisting with all warehouse duties where required

- 1-2 years of experience as Forklift operator
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data

- Mechanically inclined - ability to initiate and execute with limited assistance
- Ability to manage inventory and shipping

**Requirements**:

- 3 months experience working in an industrial setting
- 1 year experience working in an industrial setting is an asset
