Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Month-end reporting and preparing the financial statement
- Banking, floorplans, payroll, schedules and cash flow management
- Vehicle sales transactions, Budgeting, and variance analysis
- Reporting results to muliple stakeholders including General Managers and Head Office
- Year End functions, including preparing files for external audit
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Accounting and year end duties for subsidiary companies owned by shareholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum three (3) years proven work experience as a Controller or similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the overall operation of a retail automotive entity's accounting procedures considered an asset;
- Demonstrate a degree of common sense and intellect with well-developed business insight;
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills - must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
