Junior Drafting Technician

**Job Summary**

**Position & Responsibilities**:

- Produce detailed construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.
- Assist in the preparation of permit and construction drawing packages.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes or feedback from team members.
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure accuracy and consistency in all drafting work.
- Collaborate with designers, project coordinators, and other team members to support project goals.
- Track and order products based on client or designer specifications.
- Interpret design sketches and concepts into technical drawings.
- Assists clients with inquiries throughout the construction process with clear and precise communication.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of residential building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- Drafting experience is considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
