Peak Provisions Mountain Grocery is a local boutique grocer, deli, cheesemonger and lunch/ dinner counter. We are a community based business owned and operated by Squamish residents and committed to providing the town of Squamish with high quality unique grocery items, beautiful deli items, and a comfortable places to shop, eat, drink and connect with others in their community.

Peak Provisions is seeking an individual in the role of Cook.

Our cooks will be a lively, outgoing and enthusiastic individual who possesses a true liking of good quality food, creating exciting comfort food and connecting with people through sharing their cooking. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn is a must.

Creating good and friendly connections helping to establish repeat business and loyal customers for both the deli and the lunch counter.

Compensation, Perks and Professional Development opportunities:
Compensation:

- Wage is based on previous experience, is competitive and honors a living wage for

Squamish in its sector.
- Health benefits will be offered after the 3 month probationary period.
- Tips will be provided from the lunch counter based on hours worked and staff requirements.
- Holiday bonuses will be added to compensation after 6 months of service.
- Jackets and aprons will be provided and laundered.

Professional Development:

- Kitchen staff will be supported in advancing their skills in relations to store operations, wine and beverage education, food and menu development
