The H&S/QA Admin Support/Coordinator is responsible for effectively assisting with all administrative functions related to the safety and quality within the company, some tasks may include, but are not limited to, General administrative duties, communication and documentation as well as tracking Safety/Quality performance. This role will control and ensure confidentiality is maintained on all sensitive information.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:
General Administrative Duties
- Copy, scan documents
- Assemble SSMP binders, safe work procedures
- Prepare site safety & Quality bulletins
- Order safety/quality supplies: stationary and equipment
- Scan completed safety documentation into project folder.
Communication and Documentation
- Format and maintain safe work practices & Quality procedures
- Follow up on completion of incident investigation actions
- Analyze and tally Good Catch Tickets
- Obtain documents such as clearance letters, premium rate statements
- Assist with assembly of bid documents
- Manage, collect and maintain site Safety & Quality documentation
- Assist with the assembly of the summer corporate newsletter.
Tracking Safety Performance
- Assemble monthly H&S & quality scorecards
- Maintain training records
- Maintain start up packages in employee folders
- Organize training
- Organize drug testing
Manage multiple priorities ensuring all administrative deadlines and paperwork submission is complete.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and online research.
- Hands-on attitude with eye to detail.
- Committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Authentic, respectful, diplomatic and thoughtful.
- Participation in a team environment.
- Valid Driver’s license.
