Leon’s is a family-built, publicly owned company that has been a part of Canadian homes, and families for over a century.

The Leon’s Learning Centre (LLC) supports various areas of HR, including training and development, recruitment, and communication. We are currently looking to hire an entry-level administrator to support recruitment, communication and training. This in-office role is based out of our corporate Home Office in Toronto, Ontario (HWY 401 and Jane Street).

Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting recruitment and applicant screening
- Assisting with the production of training content and resources
- Supporting the production of Leon’s TV presentations and videos
- Developing a working knowledge of store operations and assisting with virtual and live training
- Helping with the onboarding of new associates -introducing them to the company, guiding them through orientation training and paperwork, and supporting them through the probationary period and beyond
- Helping to address user issues and account activations on our recruitment and learning sites
- Assisting in preparing and distributing communication to associates across the company
- Supporting a number of HR projects
- General administrative tasks
- Various other responsibilities, as assigned

What are we looking for?
- Previous recruitment and/or training experience would be beneficial
- Confident personality - comfortable speaking or presenting in front of a group in a virtual or live environment, or being on-screen in a video
- Ability to travel occasionally within Canada to support job fairs and store openings
- Positive attitude, motivated to learn
- Flexible - thrives in a busy environment and easily adapts to changing priorities
- Isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers - Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-Point
