Rossdown produces the feed, breed and hatch the chicks and grow and process the poultry, delivering products that are fresh and distinctive for people who appreciate a genuine farm-to-plate alternative. **_Key Responsibilities: _** - Check all feed delivery documents prior to unloading to ensure correct barn, bin Number(s) and follow any special instructions provided. - Ensure Accurate delivery of bulk feed to multiple farm sites. - Act as a “liaison" between the farm/barn and the feed mill. - Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours, occupational health and safety. - Preform pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order; ensuring safety and road worthiness - Maintain necessary paperwork. - Wash/disinfect vehicle as required or as directed by the Mill Manager. - Perform various other duties as required. - Experience driving a tractor/trailer unit through the mountains preferred. **_Key Experience and Character: _** - Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies - Reliable transportation - Class 1 driver's license - Experience loading, securing and transporting various types of equipment - Work overtime as required - Able to handle pressure and perform duties in a fast-paced environment - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English - Must be able to conduct yourself in a responsible, professional manner always when dealing with others. **_Benefits_** - Competitive Wages - MSP at 3 Months & Benefits at 6 Months - Steel toed boots reimbursements - 2 Weeks’ Vacation - Pension plan after 1 year of service (Equal Contribution from Rossdown) - Multiple Employee Assistance Programs - Employee Events - Family Culture/ Family Environment - Paid Sick Hours (After 3 months) - Employee Referral & Service Recognition Program Mid morning to Afternoon shift : Full Time, occasional overtime, call outs(weekend), and flexibility required. **Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Langley, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
