**Position Overview**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ensure the kitchen has the necessary supplies and ingredients for the day’s operations.
- Assist chefs and cooks in the preparation and assembly of dishes.
- Properly store food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, including cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the kitchen for service.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
