We are currently hiring Full-Time & Part-Time Barista (Tearista) / Cashier / Team Associate at our Chatime Danforth location (754 Broadview Avenue, Toronto). We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks Having experience working with customer service, fast paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation and various other duties required in a cafe. Key Qualifications: - Food & Beverage experience required - Strong customer service skills - Enjoys working independently and in a team setting - Excellent communication skills - Self-motivated, organized and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends and holidays - Must be available to work weekends and weekdays Job Duties include: - Process cash, debit and credit card payments - Drink preparation - Routine cleaning & maintenance - Various cafe duties - Possible lifting of up to 25 kg Required education: - High school graduate or equivalent is required - Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset but not required Operating Hours & Availability: - Job Type: Full Time & Part-Time - Store Hours: 11:30 am to 9:00pm (Sun to Thr), 11:30am to 10pm (Fri & Sat) - Opening shifts starts 1 hour 30 mins before the store open.
