Goods Receiving Specialist

Reports To

Purchasing Manager

Summary

The Goods Receiving Specialist is responsible for matching Purchase Orders against invoices and reporting inconsistencies. Enter exact quantity of items issued to SAPMM with converted unit of measure. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Job Duties
- Enter exact quantity of items issued and update prices and relevant info into SAPMM.
- Responsible for all company and customer owned merchandise received into CLS, and also the issuance of products to internal parties
- Ensure accurate stock levels of all company owned merchandise on SAPMM.
- Matches Purchase orders (POs) with invoice
- Participate in month end physical inventory processes if needed.
- Maintains compliance with standards of CFIA, HACCP, Work Safe, and all other regulatory requirements.
- Support all company initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication with department processes in order to implement improvements.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Materials Manager/Purchasing Manager as required.

**Requirements**:

- Associated degree or equivalent knowledge of SAPMM.
- 2 years’ experience working in a food service environment or food knowledge preferred..
- Internalization of company initiatives including CFIA, HACCP, Work Safe, GQS.
- Highly organized and very detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills, high work standards, conceptual and problem analysis skills.
- Excellent computer skills ( Medium-Advanced Microsoft Office )
- Must be flexible with work schedule and hours and adapt to changes according to operational requirements
