**Job description**

This position involves working as an administrator/social media with Hamilton Montessori School, as well as clients in need of marketing support.

Hamilton Montessori School is a private school located in Stoney Creek.

Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator/Social Media Specialist who is computer efficient and digitally knowledgeable, organized and creative in social marketing. If you would like to make a difference in the lives of children, this may be the role for you

The Administrator/Social Media Specialist will be responsible for all administrative and social media initiatives and outcomes to meet the business goals for Hamilton Montessori School. This includes developing the enterprise social media plan and calendar, creating & managing content, identifying and implementing SEO and KPI metrics, reporting analytics to Management and executing initiatives across all social media channels.

Some photography and videography skills are recommended.

**Responsibilities
- Administration/Social Media Specialist**:

- Work closely with the administrative team
- Work closely with the marketing team

**Knowledge/Experience/Skills**:

- Post-Secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Administration, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Social Media related work experience required
- Minimum of 2 years in administration and social media marketing
- Photography and videography skills are recommended
- Experience with Paid Ads across multiple platform
- Self-motivated with strong project management skills & attention to detail
- Experience working with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Suites/Workspace.
- Collaborating with the administrative and marketing team members to land on ideas and executions.
- Administrative time management
- Supporting the optimization of content and advertising for social platforms by educating internal stakeholders on results, best practices, and other considerations as needed.
- Staying up to date with changes to the platforms (Instagram, Facebook, E-blast etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral presentations
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
