Network Consultant - Contract position in Victoria:
On behalf of our client in
**Victoria,**
**Ignite Technical Resources** is looking for a
**Network Consultant **with our client for a
**contract opportunity**.

**Role Description**:
The resource will be responsible for overseeing and advising on the network component(s) of a Medigate Cybersecurity Pilot Implementation being lead by a Biomedical Engineering department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implementation of core Medigate functionality: inventory management, network monitoring and cybersecurity risk management for medical technologies at ONE Pilot Site to learn and architect a more enterprise approach
- Integration with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Work through the pilot site data to learn, document and enhance integration to the provincial Biomed CMMS
- Use the information learned in the Pilot to plan and build an enterprise Solution

**Requirements**:

- Resource MUST hold a current Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) credential in Enterprise Infrastructure OR Security AND demonstrate previous experience in implementing a Healthcare Cybersecurity platform.
- Resource MUST demonstrate familiarity with designing and operating Cisco Access, Distribution and Core Networks.
- Resource MUST demonstrate familiarity with implementing and operating Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Resource MUST demonstrate familiarity with Information Privacy and Security best practices specific to British Columbia Public Sector / Healthcare. (ISC)² Certification(s) preferred.
- Previous Experience with the British Columbia Provincial Biomed CMMS preferred.
- Previous experience with Medigate and Riverbed IPM preferred.
