**Job Description**:
Salary Range**:$34.40 - $40.95
Join a growing hospital pharmacy team where you will be able to work to your full scope of practice. The pharmacy department plays a pivotal role in medication safety for all patients. As an integral member of the team, the Pharmacy Technicians play a key role in medication safety by ensuring accurate management of the medication distribution system. Learn and be trained on a variety of job functions such as automated dispensing cabinet restocking, narcotic management, sterile and non-sterile compounding, chemotherapy preparation and conducting Best Possible Medication Histories. This is a full-time position to work rotating shifts - days and evenings, weekends and holidays included.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Regulated Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required.
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program required.
- Experience in a Hospital environment or equivalent is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an independent and cooperative manner.
- The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation. Valid criminal record checks are in original format and dated with two months from date of conditional offer from CMH._
