**Marketing and Communications Coordinator**
Scale Collaborativeis seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative marketing and communications professional to build increased awareness of our programs, initiatives, and partnerships. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to utilize your marketing and communications skills in a meaningful role that supports Canada’s social impact ecosystem.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Scale’s marketing strategy and effective management of Scale Collaborative’s marketing channels. Scale’s impact programming includes non-profit resilience, community wealth building, social enterprise, social procurement, and social finance.
This role will provide marketing and communications support for Scale Collaborative’s family of organizations.
**Compensation**:$27-29/hour
**Location**: Vancouver Island-based with flexible working hours and arrangements
**Overall Job Description**:
- Coordinate marketing messages and content across Scale’s social media channels
- Oversee and update Scale websites
- Coordinate and produce monthly newsletters
- Provide administrative communications and marketing support to events and programs
- Track and coordinate public marketing opportunities such as conferences, speaking opportunities, articles, podcasts, and external communications
- Capture, evaluate, and report marketing metrics and make recommendations about marketing activities
- Coordinate impacting reporting on an annual basis
- Provide content development and editing support
**Competencies**:
- Demonstrated communications and marketing experience with the ability to effectively manage multiple marketing channels
- Demonstrated experience and technical working knowledge of content management systems like WordPress, including SEO management
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales, engagement, and audience growth by creating marketing content for a variety of channels and audiences
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work to tight deadlines
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Research & analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of and passion for the impact sector is desirable
