Audit, Quality, and Compliance Role

**Overview**
Career Colleges Ontario (CCO) is seeking an Audit, Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance and auditing program.
- Implement and monitor effective control measures to prevent and address compliance issues.
- Review OSAP files and documentation identified by CCO staff
- Audit a sample size of OSAP files submitted to Career Colleges each fiscal year, to identify, track and resolve concerns with CCO staff processing deficiencies.
- Work closely with Manager of the Financial Aid Office and Training Co-ordinator to identify and manage regulatory risk.
- Create written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
- Be familiar with Performance Requirements Document and Ontario Career College Act 2005.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in the Administration of the Ontario Student Assistance Program.
- Prepare reports for management as required
- Work in conjunction with Manager of the FAO on any inspection reports and audit findings by OSAP Inspection and Compliance Unit.
- Participate in quarterly in person training sessions for Financial Aid Staff.
- If required, assist with training sessions for membership schools when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Must display excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must have at least three years experience working in OSAP Financial Aid Administration.
- Must possess a solid understanding of audit techniques, risk management, and control principles.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all Career Colleges Ontario staff.
