The LDB is responsible for the wholesale distribution of liquor and cannabis, and operates the retails brands BCLIQUOR and BC Cannabis Stores. This includes the facilitation of cross-functional teams and process improvements all of which supports the LDB’s current learning and development model. A criminal record check is required. An eligibility list for permanent or temporary future opportunities may be established. **Position requirements**: **Education and Experience**: - Degree or diploma in human resource management, business, education or related field. - A minimum of three (3) years of recent, experience (having occurred in the last 5 years) as a corporate Learning Advisor, Performance Consultant, Learning & Development Specialist, Instructional Designer or Public School Teacher. - Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) or Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE). - Experience in the end-to-end planning, design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programs or projects. - Project management experience. - Experience designing and delivering technical, customer service/sales, compliance, developmental and leadership training/programs in a variety of modes including: in-person, eLearning, video, virtual instructor-led and self-directed learning. - Experience providing learning and development services to corporate, distribution center and retail environments. - Two or more years’ experience in product education for liquor, specifically WSET course facilitation and exam adjudication. **Application instructions**: - **Ensure your resume includes your educational accomplishments, employment history including start and end dates (month and year) of your employment, and any relevant information that relates to the job to which you are applying.** **Note**:Applications will be accepted until 11:00pm Pacific Time on the closing date of the competition. **Working for the BC Public Service**: The BC Public Service is committed to creating a diverse workplace to represent the population we serve and to better meet the needs of our citizens.
