We are seeking a Preschool & Childminding Supervisor. This is a full-time position, working Tuesday through Saturday.

Wage range: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 salary with some hours eligible for wage top-up.

**What you will do**:

- Assist in daily operations, including staffing and meetings in the Childminding Centre, Licensed Preschool Program, and Preschool Registered Classes
- Cover front-line shortfalls and oversee the Department in the absence of the Manager
- Collaborate with staff regarding activities and direct care to children
- Assist in the planning and implementation of the one-year strategic and tactical plans/goals
- Support, communicate, and reassure parents with a high level of quality care
- Maintain an organized environment that is calm, creative, and fun for children
- Ensure service standards are maintained as outlined
- As a Club service ambassador, provide information and service to our members and guests
- Maintain billing files, budgets, statistics, and payroll records
- Identify and purchase departmental equipment, supplies, and toys

**What you will need**:

- Sensitive, mature, and able to relate well to both children and adults
- Ability to provide leadership and stability of services with an approachable and engaging attitude
- Early Childhood Education Level 2 is required; Level 3 is an asset
- Experience in a Childminding/Childcare environment
- Experience leading a preschool classroom and preschool-aged programs
- Experience as a supervisor that includes leading and supporting a team
- Current First Aid Certificate and Infant/Child C.P.R.
