Under the general direction of the Wholesale Senior Director, Bijoux Birks, the Wholesale Manager is responsible to manage and support the global wholesale business with long-term business objectives. He/She is responsible for supporting and assisting in the creation of the department’s structure as well the as budgeting, planning and analysis of all wholesale activities.

This role ensures strong customer relationship building, in an effective, efficient, and professional manner with all internal and external key partners. He/she will also contribute to the development of department structure and operational procedures.

To do so, the Wholesale Manager will be expected to
- A monthly analysis of sales and business overview to the Management team;
- Responsible to manage the daily operations of the department;
- Directly support all sales representatives, sales agents through the different markets in America and Europe
- Be the main contact and key account manager for corporate business;
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient processing of orders and deliveries;
- Raise brand awareness through trainings to the agents and sales representatives, assisted by the Training Manager;
- Provide logistic help by creating export formats and documentations to support the Logistics team;
- Works closely with accounting & finance to help in resolving payment or credit issues related to accounts;
- Facilitate communications and requests from external to internal partners;
- Create specific product assortment for partners and work closely with the product team to create market specific assortments;
- Works together with the Planning team to create and update the forecast plans for the department for replenishment and new productions
- Works closely with design and product development teams to communicate business needs in the development and creations of new Bijoux Birks product;
- Manages the Wholesale Coordinator
- Helps the Wholesale Senior Director on diverse projects and reports
- Promote a positive and rewarding working environment through teamwork, recognition and motivational support.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role luxury retail and/or jewelry experience is preferred
- University Degree in Administration, Merchandising or in Fashion Management
- Strong sense of urgency
- Great interpersonal and communications skills
- Good organization and learning skills
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
- Relevant experience in a retail environment, structuring a wholesale department
