**Position**: Baker + Kitchen Assistant

**Location**: Queen St. East

**Starting Pay**: $18.25 per hour

We're looking for a full-time Baker + Kitchen Assistant to join our Bakery team located at our Queen East cafe. You must thrive in a quality focused environment and work efficiently amongst a diverse, friendly, and professional team. Our hope is that you have a passion for and interest in all things coffee and baked goods, and are willing to grow and learn amongst other enthusiasts

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake food products, assuring the quality and consistency of each product;
- Accurately following recipes, daily schedules, recording waste;
- Count and package orders for Pilot and wholesale orders;
- Receive, stock, rotate and organize products;
- Follow daily and weekly task/cleaning checklists;
- Follow health and safety standards and checklists;
- An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of Pilot Coffee Roasters;
- All other reasonable duties assigned by the company.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in food preparation or in any kitchen position is a requirement;
- Possession of Food Handler Certification is preferred;
- Completion of formal education in baking/pastry making is preferred.
