We have a great opportunity for a **Dispatch/Tower Operator** at Crown Nissan with a newly expanded and renovated state of the art building and technology located in the Waverley Auto mall.

As part of our service team team, you will ensure the timely flow of service work working closely with our service technicians.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dispatch work to technicians ensuring work is assigned appropriately and completed prior to the promise time.
- Create internal work orders
- Responsible to follow Service core processes as documented in the following primary functions:

- Dispatch work to technicians through internal system ensuring that jobs are given based on appropriate skill levels
- Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance, inclusive of parts, include quote amount in memo field of the repair order
- Follow-up on work in progress of each repair order during the day, working directly with the Service Advisors to ensure work is completed before the promise time
- Assist Service Advisors when time dictates necessity
- Implement follow-up system of all repair orders to track progress - Write vehicle safety certificates as required - Check repair orders on a daily basis to ensure they are updated or closed out - Ensure to keep a minimum of 6 new safety books in stock, informing the Manager when stock reaches this level - Notify the appropriate department when special order parts arrive - Ensure work begins immediately or the same day when a vehicle has stayed for special order or back ordered parts - Ensure all work orders that can be closed out are done so prior to month end. Any open repair orders must be explained to the service management team. - Keep abreast of relevant changes in automobiles and dealership products

**Requirements**:

- General knowledge of automobile service, repair, and maintenance
- Be detail-oriented
- Have strong organizational and prioritization skill with the ability to multi-task
- Be self-motivated with initiative and work under mínimal supervision
- Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Be punctual
