Millwork Installer

The Cabinet Millwork Installer has the ability to complete installation from start to finish with confidence. This position works on various sites; commercial and works by Savignac Woodwork and AWMAC standard operation procedures. The main responsibility of this role is to provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer’s property.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial installer in the **commercial millwork field**:

- Install cabinets, countertops, display case, window sills, reception desk, and many more
- Reading and interpreting drawings and plans
- Pre-planning for the installation of custom millwork pieces
- Good communication skills (French and/or English)
- Efficiently installing millwork using fundamental trade practises ensuring completion within a specific timeframe while upholding the highest standards or workmanship
- Ensuring all assembled millwork pieces are properly reinforced and installed in the correct locations as specified in the shop drawings
- Able to come to fast solutions while maintaining the quality of the work
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment at ALL TIME
- Overtime will be required to meet project completion deadlines
- Ability to drive and concentrate for long hours (need Driving Record Check)
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with an enthusiastic and positive personality
- Knowledgeable on completion, the “Driver’s Daily Log.”
- Demonstrate an ability to coordinate and to problem-solve with other team members
- A current security clearance
- Physically fit to load, unload, and lift to 45kg
- Own tools
- Work at the AWMAC Standards
- Projects/Sites that Savignac works at schools, hospitals, institutions, and many more
- Out of town: Installation is across Ontario (Radius of 4-8 hours from Sturgeon Falls, Ontario)
- Out of town, accommodation is provided by the company

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
