**Position Overview**:
The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate production line operations. This role includes operating and maintaining packaging machinery, performing sanitation duties, and adhering to food safety regulations. The operator plays an essential role in supporting team goals and ensuring the production of high-quality products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate various types of packaging machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and safely.
- Sort and weigh packaged products to meet quality standards with mínimal errors.
- Perform basic and weekly preventive maintenance to ensure machines are functioning properly.
- Complete necessary paperwork and log sheets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct sanitation procedures (CIP, end-of-day cleaning) to ensure food safety and GMP compliance.
- Support other team members and ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
- Report any machinery malfunctions or production issues immediately.
- Follow all SOPs and regulatory requirements for food safety and sanitation.

**Qualifications Requirements**:

- High school diploma and one years of experience in machine operation in a high-volume manufacturing environment (food, chemical, or similar industry).
- 1 + year experience in a food processing facility
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate production machinery.
- Familiarity with HACCP and SQF requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication).
- Able to lift 15-20 kg and work in confined spaces.
- Forklift license is an asset.
- Intermediate First Aid (Standard)
- Knowledge of barcode scanning procedures is an asset.
