**Your Opportunity**

The Corporate Finance team at AutoCanada’s Corporate Office is looking for a General Ledger Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will prepare a variety of reports, update accounting records, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements. This is an amazing opportunity for a new graduate to gain practical, meaningful work experience in a fast-paced, diverse work environment, while being a key member of a tightly integrated and collaborative business unit.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and processing of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting schedules and reconciliations, including posting of related journal entries for Corporate entities of the group;
- Bank account and other various daily and monthly reconciliations;
- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial reports and analysis under strict deadlines;
- Data mining and general ledger maintenance;
- Support the preparation of required Federal and Provincial regulatory filing documents;
- Providing ad-hoc analysis or reports, as required.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Post-secondary education degree in Business/Accounting related discipline
- CPA designation or working towards CPA designation considered an asset
- A minimum of 2 years related experience in an accounting or administrative field
- Knowledge of International Financial reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information
- Some experience preparing a variety of financial reports would be considered an asset
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities, performing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.) and able to quickly adapt to new technologies deployed by the department and across the company
- Previous experience with Oracle will be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Sound, practical business judgment, and a problem-solving, client focused, results oriented approach
- Process-oriented, superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong morals, ethics and integrity along with a commitment to privacy and confidentiality
