Our Manager, Benefits North America will be a key member of the Rewards team, this role manages the delivery of Benefits programs across the US and Canada, which includes the implementation, administration, and management of the processes associated with each country and program.
**How You’ll Add Value**:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the US and Canada health & welfare and retirement programs, which includes 3rd party vendor relationships and providing support to local benefits teams as necessary.
- Monitor and analyze utilization of all benefit plans; recommend enhancements/changes to programs that support ongoing benefits strategy.
- Act as Primary escalation point for local benefits teams with issue resolution; diagnose and raise issues, and recommend modifications where necessary, partnering with the appropriate internal and external resources to execute.
- Serve as liaison and Subject Matter Expert to the Employee Experience Centre (EEC) and HR partners to ensure they have access to all benefits-related documents and information necessary to best support employee inquiries and issues.
- Support Director, Benefits NA with strategic benefit and well-being objectives across North America and Global programs, including recommendations for benefit plan design changes and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of services and support to employees.
- Oversee the annual review and annual enrollment processes in both US and Canada, including serving as Project Manager for program and system implementations.
- Manage benefits policy and procedure development to continue to drive North American alignment initiative.
- Oversee the process of ensuring all benefit documents are up to date, and compliant with all current laws and regulations based on plan changes and regulatory updates, and are distributed in accordance with state/provincial and federal requirements.
- Oversee the creation and launch of communication campaigns to effectively promote regional offerings and updates.
- Support Director, Benefits NA in annual benefits chargeback and budgeting process.
- Remain up to date on emerging trends and changing legislative requirements that affect the Company’s benefits plans.
- Provide back-up support for designated responsibilities on benefits plan administration for both Canada and the US.
- Lead various benefits and/or rewards-related projects
**About You**:
- 5+ years experience in progressively responsible benefits roles
- Experience with benefit program and policy implementation, with management of 3rd party vendors preferred
- Strong knowledge of Canada benefit policies, practices and applicable laws; US knowledge preferable, but not required
- Working knowledge of HR/benefits systems
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks without close supervision
- Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects/work initiatives at one time, adapt to changes and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
